IFR over the coast range.

I don't know if I ever posted this, but since its the season for IFR.

You can see us pick up some ice at 2:22 and then request a lower altitude and then cancel IFR so we did not get vectored into thunder storms while trying for a full approach...

Nice. I miss flying IFR, no longer have a platform for it.

Thanks. I know I wish my personal aircraft was IFR certified, but god damn would that cost something. You'd prolly have at least 50 more days here in the Willamette Valley where you could fly somewhere being able to break through that layer of fog.

Anyone have any thoughts on IFR certification on a budget?

You taxied by my hangar! Will be KONP 24-JAN and looking for snow...maybe Bearver Marsh.

Been on the Big. Island for a while...there was snow on Mauna Kea.

There is probably more snow on Mauna Kea than Beaver Marsh at this point...

I was up top there about a year ago, had an interesting time getting a flat tire while driving Mana Road back to Waimea as the sun set. Now that was a shitty time/place to have to pop on the spare, drove away with nothing but a slightly bruised ego, and a well used rental Jeep. That road on your bike would be a hoot :D

Sorry about the warm winter in Oregon! I may have to cross the boarder into Idaho to use the C3000A's next week.

Climbing to 14,000 feet from sea level on a Honda XR650L on a warm sunny day is great could see 100miles in all directions.

The bike is on Oahu now...
