Everybody needs to check on their FAA registrations ASAP. We had five out of seven planes parked on our ramp (Prosser, WA. S40) illegally registered by the FAA in the name of Robert Roper from Bakersfield, CA. Don't know many details, however this guy is transferring the registrations by forging owners names on sellers reports and submitting them to the FAA. Two of the planes were then placed on eBay and subsequently sold! Hard to believe but true.

Hmmmm... As difficult as it is to get a registration filed with the FAA in OKC I am amazed this guy has pulled off that kind of scam... In my opinion the buyer is out the money when the shit hits the fan... And Ebay might be on the hook too....

I put that name in the FAA data base and nothing shows up, but I guess there is a time lag on their updating their files???
