??? Inreach se explorer
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Anyone have any experience/thoughts on the Delorme inreach explorer? Where is the best place to buy one for the best price? Anything out there that is better?
Thanks Gary

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Hey Gary-
I used mine extensively this summer, great way to stay in touch. And I think they have a great interface.
I can get a bit of a deal on them if you'd like, $225 + $15 shipping since your local it would be no problem.
You might find a good price online too.
I'm working in Finland for 2 more weeks so I'm out of town for a while.

Sounds good too me. Just to double check, it is the explorer, correct. They are generally above $300 on line. I'll take 2. Do I need to wait for you to get back, or can you take care of it from there?
Thanks Gary

Can't help you on price, but will say that I have one and find it to be a very useful tool.

A friend of mine who is a park ranger has one for work and really likes it. He hates that now he can't really get away from all the office stuff anymore though!
