Does anybody have experience with Bill White Insurance of Corona, CA?
Like most of you, I got add in the mail from him and an email wanting to give me a quote. It came in considerably less than AVEMCO for the same coverage. I haven't seen a policy so I don't know what the fine print says. I did state in the form that I filled out for the quote that it had to cover off field operations.
Any info you all might have would be appreciated.

Presently they are my agent they are OK, I've been with them 2 policies so far. All I've had to do is send money no claims. I have some friends that have 3 planes and when they went to shop (hearsay) they told me BW got uppity about them not wanting to have them cover all three planes.
Oh BTW I did shop and they did get me the best rate available.

I dealt with them on a small claim and my mechanic has dealt with them on numerous claims. The mechanic loves them. He says they've always been great to work with and are timely with sending funds. The claim I worked on with them was pretty easy and was quickly and painlessly approved. She cut a check that afternoon but it unfortunately got stuck under a pile of papers just before the weekend. I called three weeks later to inquire and it was apologetically sent that afternoon. I chalk it up as "mistakes happen". No harm, no foul. We still use them.

I'm pretty sure that's the same Bill White who's a member of the 180/185 Club, and so has in fact written a pretty good essay about how to wheel-land which has been much quoted. Never heard him badmouthed among the skywagon crowd so I'd assume he's OK.
