Interior panels

On my 182B the interior pannels are over 50 years old and showing their age. I know Selkerk sells them. Is there anybody else out there in that market?

Re: Interior panels

Tim,

I replaced/refurbished mine with materials from Airtex. They make nice stuff and it fits. The Selkirk stuff is good, but takes a LOT of cutting, fitting, and &*(^%%$$, if ya know what I mean. It is pretty much industrial grade and looks fine when done. But, if you don't do this kind of cutting and fitting for a living, bring lots of patience. I did this with a 180, and next time, I'd hire it done.

The Airtex materials went in pretty easy in my 170. Haven't seen a kit for a 182. This stuff is a little less "industrial" in appearance. It's also not as tough as the Selkirk stuff, which is important if you're hauling loads of moose meat, for example.

If you like the looks of these, I have two brand new ones I would sell cheap. I bought them for the 172 and never used them. You can paint them and add an armrest if you want (one on the right)

Check out www.pfluegers.com if you like wood. They are at Trinity Center.

There used to be a C182 for rent at Corning which had these panels. Look nice but I always wondered about the weight.
