Hi everyone, I've been lurking since the days of the old format BCP but have only joined up. I can thank Drifter Driver for getting me to sign up, with his suggestion of an Aussie BCP fly-in. I fly ag here, mostly in Air Tractors and have a Cessna 170 for fun.

AI Skinner, I am making enquiries about doing a spray season in Canada next year so I might get the opportunity to catch up with some of you guys.

Well that is a bugger then! You dont happen to know any strips out Brewarrina way with a hanagar i could park my little beast in for a few days do you? The places i normally muster are either full hangars as everything is packed up fir the season or a bit busy as there mustering for a sheer.

Sorry, don't ever really get out there. I've done some work out at Walgett and the Ridge, but couldn't even help you there with hangarage.

Hi A1,

Just got word that my work permit has been approved for a job I was offered in Canada, so all going well, I should be in SE Alberta from June until late September. It sounds like the first few months could be quite busy but it could quieten down a bit towards the end so I might get a chance to have a look around.
I'm really looking forward to experiencing a bit of Canada.

Were going to have to realy sit down and work out how Im going to fit in your suitcase with all your gear cause from where im sitting, your going to have to pack light mate.

Great news on your work visa coming through. What kind of work are you going to be doing here? And where will you be based? Lethbridge?

Will be based at Taber, just east of Lethbridge flying an Air Tractor 502.
