IO-470 major crack in crankcase

5 CAP aircraft in the shop today. At 1400 hours TT an IO-470 needs replacement.

The crack on the 3rd right cylinder bolt is about 2" long.

A reman is sitting next to the aircraft ready to go in. It was ordered and got here before they took the prop off. That is service!

If it is fixable, DIVCO would be the place.

We are swapping the engine. DIVCO would be a good consideration too if there was more time and less money.
