Do you know why the crank end-gear has to be heated so much before torquing? I assume its something to do with being at operational temperature with the correct torque, but it seems like it would be easier to calculate the adjusted torque value? Or perhaps is more about getting the fit with expansion?


It fits tight on the crankshaft end!
Heat makes it go on easier!

Also with that type of gear (new style) you have to run a shim on the starter adapter for clearance.

Tango, PAMR MX doesn't seem to be answering my question on the oil transfer collar. Is that a shim on the right case half with the two screws. Does it have to be measured to get just the right push on the collar? Thanks

Push rods and rockers installed!

Valve covers and Injector tubes done.

I will flush the fuel system when I install it also.

The meat of everything is done!

Now just waiting on Ignition system.

Install a few brackets intake and exhaust systems and make some noise! 8)
