Ipad in the cockpit

Just saw this article today...Being a Jeppesen employee I thought this is pretty cool and a HUGE step forward in legality...may set a precedence for future "legal" use and will greatly reduce the cost of the "efb" systems

I can tell you from personal experience that ipads in the cabin are easy to lose. :oops: #-o :cry:

American Airlines is doing a test of the ipad instead of paper jepps for flight ops. This would mean not having to do revisions anymore which is a great thing. The aircraft flight manuals and mel's already are approved for laptop use.

Oh man, that was awesome! Who knew AOPA could be so funny. I loved the part about using the aircraft as a game controller.
