is this thing for real?

Never seen main gear that pivot backwards like this. Is this a one-off dream of someone? 600HP big block V8 and Buckshot Radial mudder tires..

Re: is this thing for real?

No clue what that is, but doesn't the Wilga PZL also have backwards landing gear?

Edit: Nope nevermind just the lower portion of it is bent back for shock absorption.

Re: is this thing for real?

been posted and discussed here before - apparently it is real - in that it's a real project - look like real bullshit to me but I can't wait to see the youtube first flight

I'm not sure 600HP is gonna git'r done... and those landing gear look like an accident getting ready to happen.

It's real...doesn't mean it's flying or ever will.

Re: is this thing for real?

It is absolutely real and it is in the hangar right next to mine! The owner/builder is one heck of a smart guy and I have full faith in his engineering too. He is looking to sell the whole project and/or the engine. 600 hp Corvette engine. Or fly to Independence State and check it out for yourself. :)

Re: is this thing for real?

I thought I had seen that before. I bought a Cessna 150 from Independence OR in 2003. I think that was the same plane in the the hanger where the 150 was or it was next to it, I can not remember. Looks like the same wheels and tires as in 2003. I too would like to see the youtube video of the first flight.
