ISO r172k HD fork Paperwork Canada

looking to put a Cessna HD fork on my 172 hawk XP. in Canada we need Major Modification paperwork to go this.

Anyone have it or know anyone who has their hawk Xp on bigger gear in Canada?

the Airglass fork can also be an option. however it not STC'd for the XP...

I'm pretty sure the HD fork is listed as an option in the IPC is it not? If so, no major paperwork needed. I was sure the XP had it in there as an option...

It's a Tube gear not a spring gear hawk... they don't have the HD option. I think the older hawks have the HD option... nothing here.

Yup, went through my IPCs and must have been thinking of the older ones. Sorry about that.
A completely different option, and one that I would bet would be easier, is to ask Airglas for a letter of deviation from the STC. I've had atlee dodge do it for me for firewall mounted battery boxes for newer 182s, and I would imagine Airglas would be willing to do it for you for the XP. never hurts to ask. That way they just give you a letter allowing the install on your STC.
If you are planning to go with HD brakes, you also need to get a special adapter plate from airframes alaska so you can mount the big caliper on the tube main gear. They don't advertise having it, but if you ask Gabe he can hook you up.
