It's been a bad week for Air Force Aviators

Saturday the 27th we lost 4 folks on an MC-12. Then the 747 incident happened losing 7 more and today a KC-135 went in losing 3 more. 3 heavies and 14 folks in 6 days is unheard of and tragic! Please keep these guys and their families in your thoughts and prayers. I have 2500 hrs as a Boomer in 135s and had been deployed to the location they took off from so this one really hits home. I have knots in my stomach awaiting the names to be released as I still know a lot of guys in that community.

Be careful, dude. The odds haven't changed but when they're stacked together like this it can seem like it.

It's definitely been a bad couple of weeks. I was just in Manas 2 weeks ago and there were a ton of 135s deployed. I believe the majority were from McConnell AFB. My thoughts and prayers go out. I hope we can learn as too what happened.

I knew it....had it in my stomach...I knew the Boom Operator from a previous assignment. RIP Trey!
