Aircraft building and project-level overhaul forum -- Kitplanes, experimental amateur-built, homebuilding, or even restoration of certified aircraft.
I am just finishing up an avionics upgrade on my RV-7 (I know, two projects at once is a lot), and I went with the Dynon EMS-D10. For those of you working on an experimental, Dynon makes this a pretty easy install and the config only took about 20 minutes. The harnesses provided was easy to install. Assuming it all stands the test of time, I'd do it again.

Jim

Looks great Jim!
Is that a 300XL in your avionics stack? I thought about putting either a 300xl or a 155xl in my plane.

It's a 155. I thought about changing it, but it works so I'm gonna leave it.

Whee I have a 300XL I would be willing to part with. Also have a KX155 GS with indicator.

Thanks for the offer but I don't think I will be adding anything right away.
