Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

JAARS Cessna Collapsable Seats

That's a pretty trim looking seat. Is that the finished headrest? There appears to be a similar headrest installed in the copilot side of the A/C.
I've got seats on my mind lately.

Denalipilot asked me about these seats when I posted a picture of a MAF Cessna 206 at Missionary Maintenance Service. I went back for my W/B today and took some more pics of the seats and asked some more questions.

The seats are made by JARRS. It is a missionary fellowship in North Carolina. I could not find where they have them for sale, but I found their website. Looks like some nice seats that are lightweight and functional. Maybe give them a call and see if they are available to the non-missionary public. Unless you are of course a missionary public.

Nice setup for multiple missions.

Edit: Fixed spelling of JAARS.

That's a pretty nice looking set up! it looks like the brownline seat tracks extend the entire length of the cabin floor. With Ancra tiedown rings you could position your cargo and secure it down where ever you want.

Thanks for the pic's----definitely looks like a good deal. Did you happen to sit in the pilot seat to see if they are comfortable.

That really does look like a good setup, especially for the back 2 rows. Looks light, clean, and versatile.

Wow, thanks for the follow-through! You could light up their phone line tomorrow morning posting this stuff here!
That looks really neat, and definitely well-deigned for the job at hand.

Re: JARRS Cessna Collapsable Seats

Those are some nice looking seats. I am interested in the seat rails too. Are they field approved or possibly a STC product? I've always wondered why Cessna did not redesign the seat rails and followers when the first AD came out on their original equipment. The money and time spent on the inertia reels and inspection procedures would have been better spent on a new design IMO.

I would like to know the paperwork process for these seats/rails though.

JAARS Cessna Collapsable Seats

Possibly STC SA1335SO.

Jungle Aviation And Radio Service (JAARS, http://www.jaars.org) holds several STC's, as does MAF.

For more info, navigate to:

http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guida ... enFrameSet

and type in key word "jungle" in the search box.

I tried buying a set many years ago, but was told the seats were "organizational use only." Given our litigious legal climate, was/am unsurprised.
