Jackson Hole runoff.
Debrief, share, and hopefully learn from the mistakes of others.
Looks like a system failure for sure....... Pilots stuck it at the very beginning of the runway to gain maximum advantage of this short runway. I saw it happen and was astounded it didn't break in half as it ran off the end......

Good thing it was Winter or it might have made it to the FBO's house. I see American is in trouble for downloading the flight data so they could fix the thing. I wonder if they'll send it to a longer runway for the test flight.

Was it last year or the year before that a United Airbus did the same thing... actually ground looping just before the end. Tore the plane up pretty good.
Deployed the slides and everyone wound up outside in six feet of snow!
Winter Ops in the snow country is a career limiting endeavor.

Yup... They had wired the wheel sensors backwards and confused the braking computer........

My favorite was when a Hawker landed in the JAC borrow ditch with Sandra Bullock because they didn't have the updated freq. to turn the runway lights on. One time when you could really use the ugly green book.

Yup..... I don't know what was more unique... Her walking away practically unscathed or her running down the taxiway at 3 am and pounding on the locked terminal door trying to get in to warm up.
Rule # 1.... Don't line up on the PAPI's thinking they are the runway end lights.
