Re: JC snow starting to melt

Damn, I guess it's too late to make a run over to that side of the state and lay down some tracks.... just for the web cam?

Next year I guess, I wanted to do that, then visit some people at Warren, overnight at Chamberlain Basin in one of the cabins (allowable?? don't know, seems like it shouldn't be a big deal and it would sure beat a tent) then lay some tracks down at Mile Hi on the way back, maybe next year. What a sucky winter as far as ski flying, I only got 18 hours in compared to over 60 last year. Having the 29" Airstreaks back on has cheered me up though :D A very windy winter also........

Some more bare patches today, but snow predicted at the end of the week. I'm hoping it will be dried out enough that I can make a visit in a week or two.

I've asked and they say no. But in the winter there will be no one around and if you can get in without doing any damage then...

Graham has a cabin on field that you can rent. Was $30 a night last I checked. As far as I know it is always unlocked.
