September 15th 2018 we will be rebuilding Johannesburg airstrip and hosting a fly-in / drive-in work party on the 14th and 15th.
For those familiar with the Mojave, it's right next to a town called Randsburg, which is a popular tourist destination given its' unique facades and old timey feel. Randsburg hosts an annual wild west party with "gun fights", saloons, live music, and lots of beer, (all of which sounds like a great way to celebrate the new airstrip's second birthday). Fly-in will be into Goler Heights on Friday the 14th. We will be there with radios on the 14th and shuttling folks to the worksite the following morning. There will be camping under the unbelievable stars, campfire stories, and a brand new airstrip by the time we're done.
For those who can drive, please do. RSVP and more info on the website www.johannesburgairstrip.com.
