Johnson Creek new shower trailer

I made a quick call to IDT. The modular trailer is done. The gal didn't know if it is showers and toilets or just showers. At any rate they are done. The old showers are still in service too.

Cheers...Rob

Hey Jo,

As far as I know, nothing formal is being planned. I think that a handful of us will be there that last weekend in June.

Last year the caretakers said that all the grey water is piped under the runway and into the trees on the west side. At that time, they weren't sure if it could handle the new showers as well as the old showers. The hope was that it could so that all could be available.

Allegedly. Informally. At least, we are planning on camping there that weekend, with a short tour down to Garden Valley to see old family friends and drop in on the 180/185 Club Fly-In for a bit. 8) 8)

As of now, we are planning that Thursday/Friday with maybe Seeley Lake and West Fork Lodge thereafter.

I was kind of bummed out last year about not making the Round Engine gathering at Smiley Creek. It is the same weekend there, along with the Glastar Pilots Association fly-in. We might make that a stop as well. It would be fun to spend the day talking round engines and then head back up to JC for the night. I hope the weather cooperates more this year!

Re: Johnson Creek new shower trailer

that sounds like fun! i for one wish we were just having our normal fly-in at JC like usual...i would love to see us do a big raffle for a large donation to RAF and idaho as well...yup its a little risky...but aint everything....
