Kill Speed: Possibly the worst movie ever, but great flying

"Kill Speed" (2010)

Caught this on Netflix last night. Terrible screenplay, terrible acting, bad concept in general. However, the flying scenes that are not set against the backdrop of the city are quite good, if you like watching the Reno sport class.

Yep, 'tried' watching it a week or so ago. Really sucked. Only watched it due to the major issue with the plane and its owner. Hopefully the rightful owner has it in his possession by now.

Typical Hollywood glorying another aspect of crime. Now it's gonna be cool to run drugs in high powered aircraft and pilots are going to be glorified like biker gangsters . Next thing you know hot Women are going to hanging around airports looking to pick up us prop jocks to get close to the action. We'll never get any rest. Stupid movie!

I feel dumber after watching the trailer, can't imagine what the whole movie is like. I see Goldberg is in it, maybe there will be a wrestling scene.

My favorite part was the hot start scene where the "DIA" showed up. He was really struggling with that thing, pushing buttons and working the levers. Just couldn't get that MT prop to spin.

Ok, Kill Speed wasn't the worst flying movie around, it had it's entertaining moments. The worst by far is Iron Eagle. " Jamming" to the tunes to get your freak on is a serious liability never mind a major distraction. I sample this cut when ever I need to induce vomiting.

I believe I just saw a "canyon turn". If it can be done in a crappy movie, it must be possible.

I know. I love the flaps down, wallowing near a stall trying to slow down for the motorcycle.

Ya but the worst of it is doing chandelles over hostile terrain while "white smoke" is pouring out of your "manifold' cause some dufus "adjusted your pressure cap" Not a very wise decision, But these things can happen to anyone, while "jamming" to the tunes.

How about the "pilot" wearing a leather flying helmet & goggles...while flying a Traumahawk. I also like where the 150 nosegear busts off & stobs into the ground for a prop strike, but the biggest problem was losing the race.
But even with all it's shortcomings, I have to admit that I liked watching Iron Eagle.
