I am flying commercial to Denver on Wednesday (April 10th, leaving on Sunday) and expect to have some idle time. Would like to do the pilot/tourist thing and visit an active GA airport in the area, possibly meet up with some Back Country members. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The Perfect Landing has hamburgers that TASTE like $100 burgers. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Great ramp and runway watching too. Just in case make sure to ask for a window table. Oh yeah leave time to browse the pilot store - the interior decorator really nailed it.

I've been living in the Denver area for about a decade now, and finally visited Casa Bonita for the first time last summer. I must admit, South Park made that restaurant! It was every thing it was built up to be: mediocre food, great memories from South Park, and an amusement park style eating experience.

Anyway, I'm sad I couldn't get the opportunity to meet you guys over at Centennial on Saturday... my work schedule usually gives me Sun-Tues off, which isn't overly compatible with the rest of America.

I was able to meet up with mountainmatt and Wirsig while in Denver, two great guys. A special thanks to Wirsig, who went above and beyond, taking me to some of the finer establishments in the Denver area. I will probably be back in the area later this summer for a few days, hope it will work out to meet with some of the ones we could not make connections with this time.

My belly flops are limited to no more than 3 ft - and the water temp has to be above 80. Those are my personal minimums and I will not violate them - especially if there's a video camera anywhere near.
