Lake&Air 9600 Gear Advisory

My box went south. They are not supported by Wipaire anymore but they do offer an upgrade. Are these boxes still repairable in the US? or maybe I can get a working one second hand. My box is the 9600-1A.
All the best.

Re: Lake&Air 9600 Gear Advisory

Install a convex mirror on each wing which permits you to visualize the gear position. Frankly, that’s a better, more reliable “gear warning” system……and it’s pretty much bullet proof…..no electrics, no moving parts.

Thanks for the reply MTV. Already did what you say, indeed there's no replacement for visually checking critical things. Just wondering if I can get my aural system working again, as a plus. Wipaire does sell an upgrade box, but pricey for such a simple thing, of course.
