Land with skis on Cresent Lake State, OR (5S2) ?
Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
Does anyone have advise on ski ops at Cresent Lake State Airport, Oregon?
Personnel at KONP said its covered with snow and useable? My information on this subject is nil.
Specs: 8GCBC w/C3000A leaving from Lebanon, (S30)

What's stopping you? Any big X's on the tarmac? It's closed for wheel pilots.....go for it!
I'm also sure if one looked hard enough, a "permission " refusing ass covering gov type could be found. You don't need permission, you have skis, right?

Mr.Courierguy,
Thank you. I am flying to Idaho next week for R/R. Do have you have any recommendations for Skiplane flying there. Something not to challenging?

Between Afton and Pocatello, lots of wide open spaces. Great breakfast site a minute walk from the Afton airport BTW. Pretty much anywhere there is snow and no people, and that takes in a lot of country around here.
