Leading edge dent repair near CO
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
We had a little mishap while tugging 206 on my private tarmac and driver hit a tree branch with outboard wing. I haven't seen it (I'm hanging out in warmer TX); but, from pics it appears to have missed ribs. Looking for suggestions for an individual or small shop that is within 300 or so miles of Denver. Our hangar is heated so an individual could come to us; or, we'll fly to their location. We will be paying out of pocket for this accident.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks

If there is no structural damage, you might consider just putting a Sportsman over the "blemish." Wouldn't be the first time.

First thing to do before calling-in the professionals is to get some dry ice and see if it will 'pop' out when you touch the middle of the dent with the ice.. For a medium-sized, symmetrical dent you could always try to pull (gently, its an airplane, not a car) it with a suction-cup thingy. If it's a crease and not a dent than professional help is needed.

If you can get at the area > insert a deflated football and pump it up to pop the dent out.

Steve Coleman in Monte Vista is a great sheet metal guy and can massage the dent away...don't ask me how I know!

I would suggest Beegles in Greeley.
They do awesome work.
Give them a call and ask for Scott Mauch
