Leading edge material
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Anyone know what to use on the leading edge of my stabilizer and elevator and gear legs to help protect them from the junk we encounter? Also who has it. SPruce or univair or somebody?

3M makes a clear and black tape for leading edge covering. I have it on the leading edge of my horiz. stab.
I don't know if it is FAA approved or not but it works fine.
I think Spruce carries it.
When I bought the plane someone had used Duct tape and painted it white.

Called leading edge tape. Comes in various colors and widths. Great stuff-- much better than duct tape. Aircraft spruce and others.
