Can anyone tell me if a Lemo plug is the same thing as a 6 pin or 5pin xlr? Thanks!

Just guessing, based on fondling both at various points in my life... it is not the same. The Lemo is smaller. I think, with a different locking mechanism.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
No, it is not the same as XLR. Here is an example of the headset-end connector:
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/LE ... 70PA%3D%3DIt has 6 pins. 2 mic and 2 phone just like your standard GA plugs, as well as a positive lead tied to bus voltage and a ground which power the ANR on the headset.

Agreed,
Ever since adding bluetooth to helmets I have been using the XLR as a 'bail out plug' at the nape of the helmet. Prior to and and then bluetooth bail out plugs were pretty simple.
Take care, Rob
