Lenhardt 7S9: Every Friday coffee: 10AM

I'll be here in the morning with skybobb.
Little John wrote:Rob, let us know if Friday lunch (noonish) will be at Pacific City. We might be able to make it, IF the fog burns off here!

Hey John. Me and skybobb are going to fly or drive to Lenhardt's in the morning. Just depends on the fog. I know there are several BCP guys who go there every week.

Then if the wx gets nice I got another bud who wants to fly to lunch.

Re: Lenhardt S79: Every Friday coffee: 10AM

Being based there, I should go to the 10am since I am on paternity leave until Jan. However, I'll be duck hunting down at Willamette International on the north end of the island. In fact, if folks are making the trip to KPFC, feel free to buzz the island on the way. I'll be the fool sitting in a boat that looks like a pile of yard debris with a black lab sticking her nose out of it. If luck goes my way, anyone will just see the plume of smoke rising from my Benelli!

Crazedpilot, are you the fellow KF i chatted with briefly on the radio about 2 months ago? I think you were over at Newberg Chehalem that evening.

ummm.... I don't think that was me, i don't recall any lengthy radio conversation with anyone, haven't been in that area in that particular plane. What are you flying? Here's my new toy along with our other flying videos:

Me and skybobb drove down. Good bunch of guys and gals. Airport owners Glenn and Terry were there, nice folks. I'll be back for sure. Got permission to land another 2 private grass strips.

Not sure if they still do or not (Bob may know). But there may still be a group of pilots/residence that get together for coffee and donuts on Fridays at 10am at Sunrise Skypark on the Snake River just west of Boise.

Most beautiful VFR day youl'd ever want to see here. I know cause I'm looking at it out the fire station window. Won't be flying anywhere today, so have fun for me.

Re: Lenhardt 7S9: Every Friday coffee: 10AM

I rode to Lenhardts from Areo acres with Rob for the 10:00 coffee. It was wall to wall at the FBO and busy in the pattern. Great flight, thanks Rob. I hope you know that I was just kidding you about riding in a Maule. It is a great airplane. If I didn't have a real airplane I would try to get one. :-)

Wish I coulda been there. It looks warmer and certainly more sunny than it is here in Australia right now.

I'm fairly sure the dragon is hiding in his cave to keep from freezing to death. Lots of balloons in the morning though. Nice to watch as the sun comes up. Be back in a couple of weeks.

Re: Lenhardt 7S9: Every Friday coffee: 10AM

My buddy Jeff moved to the airpark at Independence last year & has been getting up to Lenhardt's some (most?) fridays. He flies a 150-horse taildragger Yankee and will be buying a second airplane (Pacer) for short-field work. If you bump into him there, introduce yourself-- he's a good guy, & very airplane savvy. Actually, there's nothing he doesn't know about airplanes (just ask him!!) :P
