? Lightspeed Zulu Headsets ?

Just wondering if anyone has the new Lightspeed Zulu headset, how they like it, and hopefully how it compares to the 303G, which I have now.

Thanks Gary

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

The Wife pilot and I have them and they are awesome. It is our first pair (other than some junky Sigtronics) but with their Bluetooth and ANR, simply awesome.

I too am interested in these. More specifically, how they compare to Bose or Telex 50d. Any experiences?
Thanks Rob

You either love the bose or don't. I don't. They suck as passive headsets and fall apart.

a64, I am in the same camp... which is why I am looking for something else. I started to write why I didn't like the Bose, but it just turned into a rant #-o

If you read the thread "New to the Club" a few guys talk a little about comparisons.

I have had a set of the Zulu headsets, since they first became available, although I have never used a Bose in a plane. I compared them at Reno and in my opinion, the Zulu is better no comparison. Even without the electronics on. the Zulu is amazingly quiet. Plus you have the ability to plug in your cell phone by wire or Bluetooth, or if you're really into music such as myself. Plug in your iPod, and you instantly have the best stereo system. You can imagine regardless of what aircraft you fly. Plus they are cheaper. They are definitely going to put the hurt on bose

Sounds like most are impressed with them. Think I will do the upgrade. I have the 303G's and have been happy with them, and the customer support.

I fly with the Bose Aviation X at work in the airlines. I wear it a lot and really like it. Having said that, I tried on the Lightspeed at their booth at Sun n Fun. I was really impressed with it. When my Bose takes a dump, I will replace it with a Lightspeed. Cheers! :D

Just when I'm ready to pull the trigger on buying my own plane, life gets in the way. Well to hell with that!
