Little Diomede

I will never complain about my home again. No planes in for 4 months :shock: 360 deg look of village Little Diomede....that's Russia in the distance http://www.bssd.org/standing_place_hires_out.swf

You can see it from there :D Stopped there one time bought some ivory and got the heck out of there. -40 and blowing about 30 brrrrr Flew over open water for 30 min. missed the island and flew into big Diomede (Russia)before realizing my mistake and headed back :roll:

While it was playing I leaned over and cranked up the office heat a bit more....that is some tough looking neighborhood.

Well Don.....since your there......I can always use fossil oosic and ivory pieces!! Let me know how much you can get together and send me a PM. I use them to make knives.

Sorry Chicken air.I have not been there for 20 yrs and then only for 2 hrs and don't plan on going back :lol: Just found it on the internet and thought others would be interested....tough people that live there year around 8)

Bummer :( Your post sounded like you have been there 4 months waiting to see an airplane :lol:

By the way...looks like your actually in Twin Falls? How's my bridge doing?......I was featured in the newspaper there in 1979 as a possible bridge jumper :shock: I was just checking out the height and when I walked off the bridge, I had cops all over me! I wondered what they were all doing gathered there :lol: Anyhow I guess that was big news in a little town, so it made the headlines :lol:

Bridge is still here...It is legal to jump off it now. One of the few places in the US where base jumpers are welcome. About one a year bites the dust there.
