LLWS & CAT, Oregon Coast

2020.10.25-06:30:00PDT: started to fly down to Coos Bay to meet up and fly with an Eurocopter MH-65 Dolphin USCG pilot. We were planning some off airport landings etc. and have breakfast.

Unfortunately, I encountered moderate turbulence and wind shears after departing. It would have been a long bumpy ride, so I returned back and canceled the flight.

Finally made it to Coos Bay (early morning) to meet my CFI (and possibly delivery pilot). Very fun time cruising the dunes and lakes from above.

Here’s some random, super low resolution, video from this morning. Co-pilot filmed it, not sure how I uploaded it to get the substandard quality. But, anyway super fun day.
