Locomotive Springs, Utah

Hey everyone,

It’s not often we get a new place to get our tires dirty so I wanted to get the word out about a new strip that is open.

About a year and a half ago, I was tasked with working with the Division of Aeronautics in Utah and other state agencies and county governments to try to get Locomotive Springs restored. After hitting several brick walls and a start and stop process, this last spring we got the runways rehabbed. Then, about a week and a half ago, we went out and put the final touches on it...for now. It’s open for business so go check it out!

Nice work Cory! I flew over the strip last month on my way home from Washington. I’ll have to stop and check it out next time.
