Lookin for someone in the Polson Montana area
Technical and practical discussion about specific aircraft types such as Cessna 180, Maule M7, et al. Please read and search carefully before posting, as many popular topics have already been discussed.
I havefound a plane in thhe area near Polson and would like to see if anyone here knows anything about the plane/owner.
Would like to do this through PM for obvious reasons.

Never been.....But, run the N number and that will get you a start. Google FAA registration numbers. My humble suggestion.

I have done that. I know the name and address of the owner. Just would like to find out more, descretely, about the plane and owner, before I spend the time and money to go up there.

Get ahold of Neil Salmi in nearby Townsend Montana. He is extremely well versed in both certified and experimental aircraft, building and repairing them both. Ex military pilot also, he probably knows the seller. Polson BTW is a frigging gorgeous part of Montana, if you make the trip you'll see what I mean.

Neil spends most of his time in Texas now. Just call and talk to Willie Stene, at Stene Aviation,somebody that's actually in Polson all the time.
