Looking for a Colorado Fiberglass Expert
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Hey all,
The original nose bowl on my Stinson has been giving my rubbing issues ever since finishing up the swap from Franklin to Lycoming engine--the rear of the spinner back plate juuuuuust doesn't have enough clearance between it and the front of the nose bowl. I have a fiberglass, two-piece nose bowl that came with for the conversion, however it was made about 2cm too long! I really need it shortened and re-beveled out so that it can be painted and put on my airplane. So if anybody knows how to work fiberglass in the Front Range area and could help me out, it would be much appreciated! I'm based out of KLMO and willing to travel.
