Love experimentals...improvising in a pinch
Sometimes the most fun way to get into the backcountry, Part 103 Ultralights and Light Sport Aircraft have their own considerations.
Got a flat on my TW and needed to get off the ground...went to get patch kit at Lowes by the airport and was in the lawnmower section...noticed a lawnmower wheel hole was close to my axle size.. 8 bucks and a perfect fit later I took off for my destination... was a bit skeptical of the bearings but it got me out of a pinch!

Glad my dual fork 9x3.5" TW is on the way from Matco!!

Gotta do what ya gotta do to get home. Some don't get caught, some do.
Never heard of a guy using a wheelbarrow tire on a C185 with a Scott though

I used a wagon wheel/hard tire off Loni's childhood wagon to get home from his house, it worked great. It was much easier then the time I took the whole tailwheel off the airplane and had to taxi from the run way to the hangar using brakes to keep the tail up. The brakes get very hot....
