Low priced headset
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
I Need a headset - just for the passenger intercom. I'm talking the $100.00 ones. Any thoughts on what's best for comfort and noise pickup. The old Cherokee is noisy!

Airspeed, Altitude, Brains. You need 2 of the 3!

Another option would be buying a used headset. You can often easily knock $100 off a current model and out-of-production models can be even less (including in the $100-$125 range) for name brands. That's the route I went - I picked up a $350 headset for $225 (including shipping) in pretty good condition off eBay. Older, simpler models can definitely be less.

don't worry, the auction was for the mic and adapters only.

Aviation Consumer's top pick for the low priced headsets was the Gulf Coast Avionics' GCA-9T. I bought one for my wife, and she really likes it. We have a noisy Zenith 701, and it works fine in it. Costs $109 plus shipping, and comes with a cell phone jack and cord.
