After careful consideration and with the consultation of several other backcountry pilot members it has been unanimously agree that lower mineral bottom (aka: the sand bare just down steam ) is closed!!



While members with 48" bushwheels on a 200 HP ultra light may have some success , generally speaking its not very usable and members will have more fun and a much shorter, cleaner, better smelling day if they just land at the regular strip

Use of lower mineral bottom also appears to greatly increases your chances of losing your flying buddies ,
as well as inviting extensive and well deserved ridicule!
