LPS Presolve de-greaser "Like it"
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Conventional wheelbearings (Zirc lube) on 2100As deposite grease pretty much everywhere on the bottom of the amphibs. Wheel wells, actuators, drag-links, tires etc. get covered too.
Just received (3) aerosol cans of LPS Presolve from Spruce. Presolve looks pretty safe around most aircraft components. Will hose it off with fresh water after spraying and agitation. Then usually after second or third de-grease I apply AeroShell 22 (Zircs) and mist with ACF50.

Grease is hard to clean in areas like this:

Used PreSolve on the really nasty stained dirt and grease...
Very happy with LPS PreSolve! Cleans grease fast and is safe for the environment. Greasy dirty landing gear is in great shape!

Price is fairly reasonable too:

After the wash with PreSolve, as usual, I took the aircraft for a blow dry flight around the pattern. Weather was mild the entire day until a sneaky low pressure front arrived a bit early. Wind at 2000' began to fill in from the South at about 40 knots, surface was gusting to 35 knots. My stall horn went off at 75 KTS IAS on climb out. Around the pattern to final approach the stall horn went off at 75 KTS IAS AGAIN! Ground speed on final was about 33 KTS GPS and IAS was 75 KTS (42 KTS net head wind). I was thrown around but, made a very smooth landing. The weather on the Oregon Coast can and will change very rapidly. The weather looked benign enough for a few touch and goes. That changed real fast.
METAR indicated 35 KTS, but the gusts were severe:

Winds aloft forecast has 60 KTS @ 3K MSL coming in from the ocean:
