Lurker

I have been looking at the forum for some time now, and really not only enjoy learing a whole bunch but love hearing the banter back and forth.

I am lookng at getting a plane and decided that this would be a great place to start.

My name is David and I live in Houston TX, (if anyone lives in TX and wants to go fly and split the cost)...PM me. I am have all my ratings with about 4800 plus hours. I have have flown 121, 135, cargo. I love flying. I love the people that come with flying, even if you have a huge ego...I can still learn, and thats why I joined up. I love to learn. even with 4800 I still consider myself a beginer. I have had two major fly experiances
1. landed a plane that was on fire..all passangers lived. and 2.I had a mass hydrolic failer, in a premier 1A.

I love to fish and hunt and thats were the pane comes in.

thanks for lreading and in advance ...please excuse my silly questions...

Re: Lurker

Using "BLUE SKYS" to sign off, makes me think you may have flown jumpers.

Re: Lurker

Congrats, new daddy. Who did you fly jumpers for? I have been jumping since 1978, I'm closing in on 6300 jumps, but I only made a couple of dozen jumps in 2014. Too busy with other stuff.

Re: Lurker

Welcome here David. Good name.
I have no desire at all to jump out of a perfectly good airplane, but hey, we all got made a bit differently. Glad you joined up and look forward to reading more posts.
Cangrats on the son as well. My little daughter will be 8 weeks on Sunday. Can't wait to get her up in the air when I can fly again in the spring.

Re: Lurker

Jetpilot,

So, you flew for Mr. Eddows. I have known him for 30 years. I am from PA. What little dz did you fly for? If you were still in PA, I could use another jump pilot to fly my 180 to haul my buddies and I. It is not a dz, just want to make some fun jumps every other weekend at my new airport. I don't plan on going to commercial DZs ever again.

Re: Lurker

I do know john awesome guy. Did a lot more jumping than flying with him.

The small place was perkeomin valley.

I would agree I am done with the comm. DZ but still love to jump. I normally take turns flying with another buddy. He flys I jump then I'll fly and he jumps. Still trying to figure out the auto land. ;)
