Lycoming's O-145-B1
Lycoming, Continental, Hartzell, McCauley, or any broad spectrum drive system component used on multiple type.
Does anyone have experience with the O-145-B1 they care to share?
It's on an acquaintance's airplane, and it's the first one that I can recall seeing.
Thanks
Lisa

You might try the Luscombe group on facebook - the B model had the O145 on it and there may be some expertise within that group…

They're kind of a sweet little engine, but parts are pretty scarce. I've only been around 1 for a little while, but he loved it and flew the heck out of it.

God put me here to accomplish a certain amount of things...right now I'm so far behind, I'll never die!!
Lycoming calls their 145 cubic inch engine a 65 horse.
Continental's 65 horse A65 is 170 cubes.
That says a lot to me about actual available power.
I know a couple guys with Lycoming 0-145 powered T-Crafts
and I understand from them that parts availability is an issue.
