MA to TX for STOL Roundup

I've been tossing around the idea of flying the Wagon down to TX for the STOL Roundup, but the gas bill is a bit more than I think I want to swallow.

If anyone is interested in right seating it down with me and camping on the grounds shoot me a PM. MA to TX. Plot the course and if its close-ish, I'll come grab you.

Swing by KRPH and pick me up. I can show you some of the gravel bars here. My cub won't be done by then. Its a day and a half flight in a 180. Ill cover fuel for the last 160 mi

Ohh, yes I'm afraid it is. If Mike Perkins came down from Colorado it might be even better.

Re: MA to TX for STOL Roundup

I've got a flight plan MA to TX that only uses fuel less than $3.30 a gallon at legs spaced no more than 300 miles apart I can send you. Still finalizing it, as of now its just a huge list of waypoints that I have to neaten up. I'll be making the trip in the Grumman later this month and then flying it back up. It follows the East Coast down, and then along the Gulf the rest of the way to Texas.

I'm no help on the ride-share...but for selfish reasons hope you can make it. I'd love to see the plane in person and thank you personally for all the documentation. Also, once you are here...I'm buying. :)

Flight plan? It's 1500 NN, so I would hopefully only need to fill up once.

Better install some extended range piss tanks if you only plan on stopping once!
