Madras for Breakfast on Saturday AM

Image

If the weather shapes up as forecast, I'm going to take the Twin Oaks Airpark (7S3) CubCrafters demonstration aircraft (A 180HP Carbon Cub LSA) over to Madras (S33) for the Saturday AM pilot breakfast. I'm planning on setting aside some time after breakfast for a demonstration flight or two. If anyone over central Oregon way has been thinking about taking a closer look at a Carbon Cub, or wants to try one on for size, Saturday would be a good day for it.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested, or give me a call at (503) 519-0827.

Found out today that the Saturday Breakfast is in Prineville at the new FBO. Madras is Sunday. Hope to see some of you there.

I'd be there with the hangar door open if I didn't have to work :( . Have fun! It's a great place. Are you staying the night?

Not in a position to buy an airplane so I won't waste your time with a demo flight, but if you're going to be hanging out I love to get to take a look at it. The Cub Crafters planes look awesome, but I've never gotten to see one in person.

What time will you be in Madras do ya think?

Didn't make it out today. The one guy that I was going to demo in the aircraft couldn't make it so, with the return weather on Sunday looking iffy I decided to reschedule for a later date.

When I get a reschedule day figured out I will post it on here. I will try for a weekend to hit both events. Of course, in the meantime if anyone is really interested, all are always welcome to give me a call or stop by Twin Oaks (7S3) for a look or a ride.

Alvord Hot Springs - Near Fields Oregon. You land on the dry lake bed and the hot springs are a 1/4 mile walk.
