There are many folks who's lives were saved by Daryl doing search work in his plane. Sad day in Maine.

That is sure sad news. I've just read a few more write-ups on this, and they all say what a fixture this man was for the Maine wardens. It sounds like he did a superb job for a long time, in some of the roughest country and weather you can find. Condolences to all who knew and worked with him.
