I'm looking for a camera mount with pan and pitch gimbal capability to use with a GoPro mounted up on my airplane. I have found some that could be adapted from the RC world, but was wondering if anyone on here has come up with a good solution or if anyone would be interested in the same system if it was developed. With the new video feed capability to IOS devices on the GoPro hero3, it really opens up the possibilities for panning a camera in flight to get a nice variety of views, all in flight from the cockpit.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Pan and tilts are in wide use for CCTV and might be adaptable for what you need. Or you could try something like this:
