Manvel North Dakota EAA 1342 Annual Hog Roast

Evening everyone,

DIDN'T even dawn on me till a today to make a post. This weekend (Friday and Saturday) is our EAA Chapter 1342 Campout Hog Roast FlyIn up at Heyde Field (8ND4) just north of Grand Forks International.Heyde Field is nestled along the woods and up against a corn field providing the perfect backdrop for our annual fall fly-in! Join us on Friday night (16th) for an airport campout, bonfire, and cook out. Dinner will be served at around 1900. Saturday morning, there will be donuts and coffee at 0830. Around 1100 we will serve our delicious roasted hog along with all the fixings. Last year's turnout was great, and this year is going to be even better with over 15-20 airplanes already confirmed, hopefully with good weather on our side that number will be true. Hope to see you guys there!

Hoeschen

Thank you again for the photos! We all every very glad you can make it, mentioned to some of my friends that I posted the event here on BCP and they were excited and hoped someone would make it in! Looked for you once I finished carving up the hog but you must have departed by that time. This airport is open all year round, they do quite the work to keep the snow off of it. In fact last winter I flew an SR20 out of there with no problem!

Here is the final product of the video my friend Swayne Martin made. Him and I, alone with two others are the ones in on the 172 pictured, orange green stripe on white.

Enjoy!
