I've been doing some hangar cleaning and have a few items to sell. I saw that Marketplace is locked and I am unable to post them there. Is this a change to the site or only a temporary measure.

It's not locked out to logged in users. Due to scammer/fraud concerns made apparent recently by Crzyivan I have made it available only to registered and logged-in BCP users so that lurkers can't scan the forum for targets. This once again affirms my desire to limit the marketplace to the BCP community only.

Motoadve posted a tire for sale this morning, so it looks like permissions are okay.

Not sure why I had the defugalty but it's all good now.

Hmm, funny you mention it. I posted yesterday looking for a Goodyear wheel and my ad disappeared. I saw it when I posted it and then later on I checked to see if anyone responded and my ad was gone. I can see it under my profile but it is no longer in the marketplace.

Just curious if you started the title of your ad with WTB: ?

If you don't title your ad with FS (for sale) WTB (want to buy) WTT (want to trade), etc, the system automatically deletes any ad that does not have the subject line starting with this type of header.

Crazy van Ivan, Quit picking on me...you might hurt my feelings! LMAO!! No worries bud! Not picking on me at all, just stating the facts and the fact is, I screwed up. I forgot about putting the WTB in my posting. I assumed (but only made an ass out of me) that the 'Needed' was good to go. I have been publicly humiliated, scorned, deleted, and penalized so I think I will crawl into a corner and hide.

I've reported it to Equifax, Experian, and TRW.

Oh crap!! Just what I need...bad credit!
