Martin Mars - Oshkosh

Kermit Weeks has posted a great photo collage of flying the Martin Mars (it is a larger flying boat) from the west coast of British Columbia to Oshkosh last week. Non-stop. Day VFR. I'd been in the Mars off and on over the years when I'd drop into Sproat Lake, and was greatly surprised with the Garmin rework of the instrument panel. Captain was Peter Killin, well known float pilot from Campbell River that is also the local guru on fabric recovering, having done over a hundred airplanes.
