Matco service ... unbelievable quality
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
I purchased an 8" Matco tailwheel in January, and had it installed simultaneously with my 26" Airstreaks. I've subsequently determined that our installation was less than perfect (not disastrously worse, but sufficiently incorrect that steering response has been a bit impaired since installation).
I contacted Matco's general email address and in a bit of a vague manner described my problems(s). I sent my email at 9:20pm EST March 15 and thought that if the stars were properly aligned I might receive an email in response within perhaps 48 hours. Thirty minutes later I received a very insightful and thoughtful response from George Happ at Matco. This was the first of several email exchanges we've had over the past three days.
I'm not certain that I've ever had such prompt and helpful customer service from any company in any industry. These guys are remarkable; it's not possible for me to overstate the quality of my experience.
Best to you all.

Loving life and thankful for each day I am blessed with!
George is the owner of the business and a great guy. I have always had the same experience - great people and great value/quality products.

Add one more to the list. I am in the process of converting my airplane over to Matco brakes. I also am running one of their tailwheels. They have always been prompt to answer my questions and their products are top notch.
