Thanks Matt,
No water assisted departures on this flight, the angle just made it look that way. The camera was actually an after thought as my tail mount malfunctioned a couple weeks ago and last minute I strapped it to the strut to try and get a little footage. I really prefer to show the bushwheels in the frame to give a reference (and who doesn't like staring at big bushwheels:)) but that wasn't possible this flight if I still wanted a forward view.
Ideally I need 2-3 more cameras. A good forward view, a view that shows the tires, tailwheel included, control inputs, and pilot reaction........but who would fly the plane???!
Anyway, This airplane really just flies like my Pacer, but with more wing, flap, hp, and cost! So the transition has gone fairly quick, although I learn a lot every time I fly with someone new, especially Miller.
