I am hoping someone here might be able to help me out. We are looking to purchase an M4 in the near future. We came to this decision based on all the numbers; seats, price, useful, performance, etc. But I am not here to debate any of those. My problem is we are looking at a plane that is in the final stages of reassembly after being disassembled for repairs and The current owner says it is still weeks from flying. I am satisfied with the repairs and everything else, I would like start throwing my time and money at the project to help get it flying but I just can’t go all in because I have never flown a Maule, much less an M4. Maules seem to be polarizing, if nothing else, and while I am confident it will be a blast to fly I just want my wife and I to have the opportunity to feel it first.

So the question is; is there anyone with access to an M4 in the interior that I could talk in to going for a joy ride?

Hey James, there are lots of maules in Alaska. Also, I'm sure you will love it. Maule has a very active owners group over at www.maulepilots.org if you don't find someone here.
