Maule M5 - a "dangerous" airplane?

I bought a like new 99 MXT-7-180 Nosedragger for $70k with 550TTAFE with no damage history and a VFR stack WITH a Stec 2 axis autopilot last November.

It's a much different bird than a Cessna, and takes a ton more work to fly than my old Socata, but for a fresh 300hr PPL, I'm tickled to have something that's so challenging and forgiving at the same time.

Plus jump takeoffs are cool.
