More good stuff Greg. I know that spot. Nice to have ABW there. The wx was sure nicer than expected.
Got my annual done and the Maule is almost good as new. :D

Cheers...Rob

Re: Mauleguy Playing

Daryl was with me and I told him it was a good place to test his new 31's at, he landed and said I don't like that. I asked how much pressure he had in them and found out they were at 8 (to much) should be around 5 I told him. He also still has the stock 3200, a tailwheel landing will feel pretty awful on softball size rocks if you don't keep the tailwheel off the rocks until you come to a stop. Something else to buy

Flying is dangerous. If you think otherwise, you are new at this sport. Mind the gravity not the gap.

Re: Mauleguy Playing

It always cracks me up how long ABWs spin after TO.

I find the small pitching moment as they first touch down and start spinning, or worse the yawing & pitching motion if one touches first, less fun.... Still doesn't feel quite right.

Nice video, Greg. It's cool to see some off airport flying in the Gorge!
